Satisfied with Installation in Ocean

This past November a water leak was noticed by the furnace, since my wife and I were driving to South Carolina. I asked our son to call NJR Home Services. The repairman came promptly, but advised it needed more, he arranged to have the boiler looked at. Since we were in South Carolina. I spoke to Harold Bentley (Buster) and got the news that we needed a new boiler. We arranged the date and cost and started. Your people worked till after 10:00 p.m. to finish the job.

My letter is only to complement you and your company. The work was done neatly. The people I spoke to were professional and knowledgeable.

We have agreed to a whole home contract including AC, etc. through Kim Muhammad. Later I met Buster and Scott when they inspected work and put in thermostats, very nice people.

I want to acknowledge the NJR Home Services professionals who worked on my heating system problem. First it is important to mention the technician, Scott, who worked tirelessly for many years to keep what was a poor boiler application functioning. Without his dedication to correct many instances of the system not running we were spared many days of no heat or hot water.

Secondly, we want to commend Ed and Nelson who did the technical work to determine the correct boiler replacement and supervised the installation. Additionally the lead plumber, Joe, and his team did a tremendous job with what was anything but a run of the mill job. All of the men who worked on this installation were highly professional and cheerful. NJR Home Services should have every reason to be proud of employees of this caliber.

Lastly I want to thank Hiram who made this whole operation possible. When I was finally able to locate someone in NJR Home Services management to correct the long delays and broken promises to correct our problem, you took immediate charge of the situation and resolved all issues. Your actions and those of the men above have restored our faith that NJR Home Services has the right people and that the company will stand by its work and resolve issues in a fair and equitable manner. Outstanding Installation in Toms River

I recently had my furnace and central air conditioner replaced, taking advantage of the free furnace promotion. I would just like to make you aware of the fantastic job the installers did. On the 25th of April, Dan M. and Steve M. did the installation. The work was top quality and the job was completed with pride by the workers. An electrician (I did not get his name) also did a really nice job to correct my wiring problems.

These days just to get an adequate job from a contractor has become acceptable. But these men did an outstanding job with the installation and left my basement spotless when they left. I was totally satisfied and appreciated their courtesy and explanation of the process. Thanks to Dan M., Steve M., and the electrician for their work. NJR Home Services should be proud to have these men as employees.

Pleased with Service

Have been pleased with the service we've received through NJR Home Services. Used to have a service contract with the company that installed our furnace — they charged a lot more and didn't cover hardly anything — only would give a discount on parts and service. With NJR Home Services, we pay the monthly fee and recently had to have the blower motor replaced on our furnace — didn't have to pay anything when they came. Glad to have this coverage!!

Highly Recommend NJR Home Services for Solar

This letter is in reference to anyone interested in buying solar from NJR Home Services. My wife and I have researched solar for about two years before meeting up with Nick from NJR Home Services and he's been nothing but a pleasure, honest and very informative. My wife and I have felt that other companies try to sell you on a product that wasn't going to benefit our home. Nick sat down with us and broke everything down to show us how cost-effective solar would be for us. I have referred other people to NJR Home Services and when he felt that it wouldn't benefit them, he told him honestly this is not going to work to them, that's a man of integrity and I highly recommend NJR Home Services and Nick, especially. At the present time we have had solar for over a year it has saved us well over $1,500 for the year and we are very pleased with the aesthetics of the product and how it's working so far. We have a zero leaks in our roof and we feel confident that if there was a problem they would come and fix the problem. Happy with Solar Lease

We are very happy with the solar panels and the entire installation process provided by Nick and NJR Home Services. The monthly lease cost was less than other companies and we really liked that NJR Home Services offers a fixed monthly payment for the lease. The installation completed with no issues and we barely noticed the solar panels on our roof. As soon as our system was able to be turned on we saw a 50 percent reduction in our total electric bill. When we sold our house we did not have any issue transferring the solar lease to the new homeowner. We are very happy with the solar panel lease program provided by Nick and NJR Home Services and now we are moving ahead with another solar lease through NJR Home Services on our new home.

Positive Experience in Morganville

Upon our yearly boiler service, we were advised our system was no longer usable. So began our search for a new boiler. We had approximately 5 estimates/companies come to our home, one being that of a Mr. Bifani from NJR Home Services.

We decided to go with NJR Home Services for a few reasons, your years of service to our home, dependability of your service and also the person who originally came to our house for the estimate, Mr. Bifani. He worked very hard to get us to a place where we could accept the offer presented. At the time of our contract signing, he gave us an install date and so our journey began.

Your crew came out on the date given, October 17th; they were professional, personable, and a pleasure to work with. It took 2 days for the install, and another day for a ‘group’ to return to remove our old boiler. It was a positive experience for both me and my husband.

Thank you for taking the stress out of what, to me, was a stressful time. We would not hesitate to use your services again, if needed; (we still have our annual contract!) and will refer you any time someone is in need.

I just had my furnace, A/C condenser, and coil replaced by NJR Home Services last Friday. First, let me tell you that R.J. Bifani (HVAC Consultant) is very professional, and knowledgeable with explaining the complete system on what we needed in our home to be efficient, he's very good at what he does. And, i can't leave out that his upside down reverse drawing skills is impressive.

Also, let me tell you that all of your Technicians did an excellent job on installing the complete system, they all worked well together. I work in the technical field, and I'm very picky when it comes to details, and doing a good job. Your technician's did a perfect job, from cleanliness (covering carpets, flooring) to installing furnace/AC ductwork, intake/exhaust pipes to pipe hangers, down to wire ties, everything was done very neatly. Just what I wanted, and expected from a company like NJR Home Services. That's why I chose NJR to do the job. They will always be there for you.

Happy in Succasunna

I recently purchased a new heating and air conditioning system from NJR Home Services. Working in the retail industry, I'm aware customers often write with complaints. I wanted to take a moment to tell you about the great service I received from technicians Juan C., Ray M., and Ricky.

Juan and Ray arrived on time and assured me that my new system would be installed timely and correctly. After looking at my current heating unit, Juan immediately realized the wrong new unit had been sent. Without missing a beat, Juan made the appropriate calls and once again assured me that the proper unit would arrive as he and Ray dismantled the old unit and changed out the air conditioner. Juan and Ray worked diligently all day, while keeping me informed on their progress.

At the end of the day, the air conditioning unit was not working properly, however, Juan again made the calls needed to get the replacement part. Although I was planning to go on vacation the next morning, Juan told me they would have me up and running before my scheduled departure. Sure enough, Ricky arrived early the next morning and fixed the problem. Juan even accompanied him.

I was happily able to keep my vacation schedule with a new, working heating and air conditioning unit thanks to Juan, Ray and Ricky. NJR Home Services should be very proud of these three employees and their commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Thrilled in Marlboro

I have been an NJR Home Services contract customer since I bought my house in 2013. It was important to me, as a new homeowner in a new town, to not have to worry about the big appliances like my furnace, AC and water heater. Who would I call in case of an emergency? Maintaining a contract with NJR seemed a no-brainer.

Having never fully enjoyed the pool at my new house, I recently decided it was time to get a pool heater. I went to the NJR Home Services website and was happy to discover that the company sells and installs branded pool heaters. I requested a quote online and before you could say “Memorial Day,” I had my heater installed and tested by very friendly and knowledgeable professionals.

I'd like to commend you on having such a wonderful tech in your employ. In today's world, good old fashioned social amenities have been almost lost, but Scott still possesses that time-honored skill.

Thank you for sending out this wonderful tech today. He was polite, efficient and even took off his boots in trying to solve a problem with noisy heat pipes (it was very snowy and he didn't want to get the carpets dirty).

Great Customer Service

I wanted to write to you to commend the great customer service we received today.

I had turned our thermostat up around noon time and the whole thermostat just fell apart, it was very old. I started to panic because I seemed to have turned the heat up and there was no way for me to control it or turn it down because the thermostat was just broken. I called NJR Home Services and Fabian made an appointment for me for today and was so happy about that. He also told me that if it got too hot, to call him back and he would try to expedite the service appointment.

I was even happier when the Technician came within the hour. Al was the Technician and he could not have been nicer. He installed a beautiful new thermostat, showed me how to use it and was just so professional.

We really appreciate the service we received today from Al and Fabian and are so thankful to NJR Home Services. Also grateful that we have a service contract in place already and everything was covered. I would definitely recommend your service contracts to anyone. Actually while I was on the phone with Fabian he told me that you have electric and plumbing service contracts and he is sending me additional information.

Impressed With Standby Generator in Monmouth Beach

I was so impressed with the professionalism of the service NJR Home Services provided when I purchased and installed my home generator. Your entire team excelled at delivering outstanding service. Chuck came to our home and took us through the entire process. His presentation was clear and responsive to all our questions. We were so confident in him (and, by extension, NJR Home Services) that we didn't go "shopping" around with other vendors. He promised a "turnkey" service, provided a schedule of significant events and then stuck with the process through completion. He delivered on every promise he made and followed up on everything. Personally, he's a terrific young man. He represents NJR in a way you should be proud of.

In addition, Rich, the installing electrician, and his assistant, exceeded the high standards Chuck had set. They were meticulous in their work, cleaned up after themselves each day and explained everything in a clear and understandable (even for myself) manner. Dan, the supervisor, didn't just "stop by" for a windshield, tip-of-the-hat gesture, but rather got involved in the installation and thoroughly reviewed the work, making sure everything was correct.

Quite frankly, I just couldn't have been more satisfied. I would not hesitate for a second recommending you to anyone who asked.

Confident That I Made The Right Choice in Jackson

I wanted to send out special note to your staff members who were just above and beyond and most helpful. I have been researching various systems and had called upon many companies for estimates, but none of those companies afforded me the confidence that your staff has provided.

Jeremy came to my house to provide me an estimate for new HVAC system, including water heater. He answered many questions that I was not getting a clear cut answer from other companies in which I obtained their service for an estimate.

Happy Solar Customer in Bayville

NJR Home Services (NJRHS) took care of everything related to our solar array installation, from the design of our system to obtaining all permits through the installation of the panels. With the solar lease program we had no out of pocket expenses and we are covered for all maintenance, updates and repair costs should they be needed.

Above and Beyond in Manahawkin

On January 9, a service technician came to my home to investigate a problem with heat distribution. The two back bedrooms were not receiving heat. This man went above and beyond. He went into my crawl space and discovered part of the duct work was off and reconnected the lines for me. I’m sure this was not necessarily part of his job but obviously, he has a great work ethic. I will continue to use NJ Home Services and will be contacting them shortly for duct repair work and insulation.

Generator Customer in Middletown

Last week, representatives of NJR Home Services completed the installation of a permanent generator at our home in Middletown. The installation involved a certain amount of plumbing and a substantial amount of electrical work. 

I would like to thank NJR Home Services for the excellent work, attitude, courtesy and technical ability that were demonstrated by all the representatives at our home. Each representative appeared to be extremely knowledgeable and technically proficient. In particular, the electricians that were there traced down circuits, wired three panels and had the foresight to go back and check the circuits after they were wired. 

NJR should be extremely proud of its level of service demonstrated by the gentlemen who were at our home. If we change our hot water heater from electric to gas, NJR will be our first call.

A serviceman by the name of Tom just left my home after replacing the motor in my furnace.
