  • Is replacement of the heating or cooling system covered under the NJR Home Services Service Contract?

    • No, an NJR Home Services Service Contract on a heating or cooling system does not cover the replacement of the equipment if the equipment is no longer functioning. When you purchase a service contract, you get coverage on your heating and cooling system that includes the cost of repairing or replacing parts when needed.
  • Why are add-on parts (ex. humidifiers, electronic filters) not covered under the service contract?

    • Due to the large number of add-on parts, NJR Home Services does not keep repair parts in stock for nonstandard equipment.

      In addition, these nonstandard components may compromise operational reliability.

  • How will I be notified that my service contract is up for renewal?

    • You were provided with an order confirmation letter when you purchased your service contract. In this letter, we also included the renewal date of your contract. For your convenience, and to ensure your home is continually covered, your contract will renew automatically at the end of each one-year period. If you wish to change your service contract coverage, please call us at 1-877-466-3657.
